Extra Shift at Both Gallery London

Extra Shift 7th June-14th July 2024

Extra shift, an exhibition in collaboration with Highgate festival, is a continuation of Mother of All, bringing together artists who have nurtured their creative practices amidst the responsibilities, challenges and joys of motherhood. The ‘ Salon’ style group exhibition is a tribute to the remarkable contributions of artist mothers to the creative realm, demonstrating their unwavering commitment despite responsibilities and limited time.

My works showing at Extra Shift is ‘She Glows’ and was produced as part of the development of my master studies at Central Saint Martins. Recovering from Covid and while painting the background colour on an post illness auto pilot I could see a connection between the action of cleaning and painting as an action..( Coming soon.. the development of my MFA final works ‘Did I Work Today’.

Why we like to tell Other Peoples Stories

‘Other Peoples Stories’ Is a working title for an upcoming solo exhibition that I am currently working on to be held at the Corner collective from 3rd-13th October 2024.
